Nominated by the Canadian Hereford Association, visionary pioneer, Louis Latimer was driven by a lifelong desire to create better cattle and elevate the global demand for Canadian beef genetics in the process. A long-time ambassador for the purebred cattle industry who understood the value of genetic improvement and new technology, Louis Latimer was inducted into the Canadian Agriculture Hall of Fame in the fall of 2019. Five of his six children (Linda, Marlene, Nancy, Elaine, Gary (and wife Jacci) travelled to Quebec City for the indoctrination. Brother Bryan was showing cattle at Agribition. 2020 was a difficult year for showing cattle at our usual stomping grounds (Olds Fall Classic, Canadian Western Agribition, and Farmfair International). For now, we would like to share some of our accomplishments from 2019. Please check back as we will keep this page up-to-date on a regular basis.
